Planning to Buy a New Computer? A group
from IET is updating the recommended computer specifications to
help guide your search for a new computer. Each year since spring
2000,
when the campus adopted the computer ownership expectation
for all incoming students, folks in IET have produced the recommended
computer specs. This year, those specifications include recommendations
for campus staff. For more information about purchasing a computer
and for the latest recommended computer specifications, see http://computerownership.ucdavis.edu. > Also in the works is an
upgraded version of Bovine Online, the internet tools CD produced annually
containing the tools needed for faculty, staff, and students to get online.
While the contents may evolve slightly prior to production, the CD will likely
