Software Spectrum, the reseller for Microsoft, Adobe, Filemaker, IBM/Lotus, and Symantec products for the University of California system, terminated its services to the UCs on September 30, 2001. The Technology Resource Center, a company based in Illinois, was selected as the UC software reseller, effective October 1, 2001.  New Reseller
Technology Resource Center will provide the same services as Software Spectrum, with the exception of software under the Microsoft Select agreement. For Microsoft Select products Technology Resource Center has contracted out to Compucorn and is willing to add other software vendor programs as needed.
Ordering Products
If you are ordering products under the Microsoft Select agreement, you will need to do the following:
If you are ordering Adobe, Filemaker, IBM/Lotus, Symantec, or Microsoft products not under the Select agreement, you can follow the same purchasing procedures as you did for Software Spectrum.
