New Version of Internet Software Suite
Bessie is back, improved and beefed up. The third version of Bovine Online, the Internet software package developed by Information Technology for UC Davis affiliates, includes easy installation instructions, a comprehensive manual, and the following popular Internet software programs: Web browser Netscape Navigator 4.0.5, email application Eudora Pro 4.x, PowerZip 3.5 (Win 95) or Stuffit Expander 4.02 (Mac), Adobe Acrobat Reader, Dr. Solomon's anti-virus toolkit, and a telnet application.
Also included this year are CBT (Computer-Based Training) courses on Office 97 and Internet-related topics.
Purchase Bovine Online at the UCD Bookstore Computer Shop or IT Express before November 1 for the introductory price of $14.99. After November 1, the price will increase to $18.99. It's available on CD for faster installation and more software, and may be requested on diskette on a special order basis (UCD Bookstore Computer Shop only) for an additional $10 or more. Upgrades from last year's version are not available.
