We're Seeking Feedback on Summer Edition of Student Computing Guide
Have you ever wondered where campus computer rooms are located? Where you can find a scanner? A video editing machine? Did you ever want to know what ServiceIDs are, what they do and how they could possibly be useful? The answer to these questions and more can be found in Information Technology's new Student Computing Guide.
The summer 1999 edition of the guide is on the Web at http://scg.ucdavis.edu/. The publication was developed by a team of student writers under the guidance of the IT Publications staff. Designed for students who are new to the campus, this edition provides simple descriptions of services, practical information, a search page, answers to frequently asked questions, and a glossary of computer terms and acronyms. The guide is dedicated to answering students' questions about computing at UC Davis.
Please send your questions, comments and suggestions to ietpubs@ucdavis.edu. All input will be carefully reviewed and considered for inclusion in the fall edition.
